Screen Repair and Fabrication
With Colorado’s 300 days of sunshine per year, it is common for homeowners to keep their windows open on nice, sunny days throughout the year. For window and door screen repair and fabrication, Hansen Glass is your one-stop-shop. Our screens are built and fabricated by the professionals at our Parker glass store and showroom location. We offer the following screen materials: fiberglass, aluminum insect screen, solar, high visibility, and pet resistant. Every screen we offer is fly and mosquito proof, plus we offer repair of both standard and custom sized screens.
If the frame is undamaged, replacing the screen is the most cost-effective option. If the frame has damage or has been bent, Hansen Glass will fabricate a new screen to the exact dimensions of your old frame. Common aluminum frame sizes are 5/16″, 3/8″ or 7/16″ thick by 3/4″ wide. We have frame colors available in white, bronze, silver, tan and champagne. Hansen Glass also stocks spring, clip and latch attachment hardware to meet the specifications of most residential and commercial windows.
If you would like, you are more than welcome to bring your screen in to our Parker location for repair. We provide a quick turnaround time on all orders.

Screen Mesh Types

Fiberglass Mesh
Fiberglass is now the most common screen material used in both new home construction windows and in screen replacement. Fiberglass mesh is an economic and rigid choice which makes it the perfect screen material to make sure insects and other objects stay out of your home.

Aluminum Mesh
Aluminum screens are composed of aluminum wire mesh that is rugged and durable. Aluminum screen fabric is available in black, dark gray, and bright aluminum in order to complement your home.

Pet Mesh
Homeowners with beloved dogs and cats in their families should consider pet mesh. Pet mesh in window and door screens keeps pets safe and prevents shredded screens. Made from heavy-duty, vinyl-coated polyester, pet mesh is stronger than fiberglass and aluminum screen mesh and is highly resistant to tears and punctures by pets.

Solar Mesh
Solar mesh fabric is coated with a thin layer of metal. This serves to reflect sunlight and also provides heat control, glare control and ultraviolet protection. Dark solar mesh provides excellent visibility and glare reduction. If increased solar energy protection is a priority, consider lighter colored solar mesh.
